Your Child’s Unique Needs
“My Child Struggles to Keep Up—and It’s Breaking My Heart”

Supporting neurodiverse and special education learners with a proven, compassionate approach so they can feel successful in school and beyond.

Does this sound familiar?
Your child wants to succeed in reading and writing but faces roadblocks that other kids don’t. They may be neurodiverse or have a learning difference, which makes connecting with reading and writing extra challenging. They’re frustrated, and you’re left wondering how to help. You’ve watched them struggle in class, fearing being called on to read aloud, or facing difficulties expressing their ideas in writing. You’re worried about their self-esteem and future success, and you need support that truly understands their unique challenges.

You’ve Tried Everything—and More—
You’re a dedicated parent
You’ve tried structured reading times, followed every teacher suggestion, encouraged them with rewards, helped them revise, and even coached them through the anxiety that often accompanies reading and writing tasks. Yet, progress is still slow, and the frustration remains. It feels like nothing really works, and both you and your child need solutions—not more stress.
A Tutor Who Understands Neurodiversity and Special Education
Hi, I'm Kristi Wolch. I understand your pain and, more importantly, your child's challenges.
With 10 years of experience working with students with diverse learning needs in the classroom setting, I’ve seen firsthand that a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work. I understand the specific needs of neurodiverse and special education learners, and I’ve developed methods to build their reading and writing skills in manageable, supportive steps. My sessions focus on their strengths and tackle their unique challenges, ensuring they feel seen, supported, and capable. Our first step is a detailed assessment to identify exactly where they are struggling, followed by a custom plan that meets them where
they are.
